Terms of Service
Last updated: September 6, 2026
These Terms govern access to Firmstead HQ. By creating an account or using the service for a business, the customer agrees to them and confirms that its representative has authority to do so.
Service and accounts
Firmstead HQ provides modular business-management tools. Customers are responsible for authorised users, accurate account information, credential security, lawful use, permission settings and maintaining copies of records they are legally required to retain.
Trials, subscriptions and billing
The trial lasts 30 days unless otherwise stated. Paid subscriptions renew automatically monthly or annually until cancelled. Annual plans may include one month free as shown at purchase. Prices, user limits, add-ons, taxes and renewal dates are shown before checkout. Subscription management is available only to Owners and Admins on the web.
Cancellation, failed payments and refunds
Customers may cancel renewal at any time and keep access through the paid term. Except where law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable. Mandatory cancellation, cooling-off, defective-service and consumer rights are not limited. After a failed payment, Firmstead HQ may provide a seven-day payment-update period, then restrict the workspace to billing access. Data is not deleted merely because that seven-day period ends; any permanent deletion follows the stated recovery process and applicable law.
Customer data and acceptable use
The customer retains its rights in customer data and grants Firmstead HQ permission to process it only to operate, secure and support the service. Customers must have authority to upload data and must not use the service unlawfully, infringe rights, distribute malware, interfere with security or attempt unauthorised access.
Availability and changes
We aim to provide a dependable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features may change, and material changes will be communicated where required. Beta or preview functions may be less reliable.
Liability and governing terms
To the extent permitted by law, indirect or consequential loss is excluded and total liability is limited to fees paid for the service in the preceding 12 months. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Governing law, business identity, address and dispute provisions must be confirmed by Firmstead HQ’s lawyer before paid public launch.
